Overview

CIS (Pvt) Ltd is a leading provider of software solutions, seeking an experienced Senior Software Support Executive to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in SQL query optimization and hands-on experience in resolving complex software issues.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software support, with a focus on SQL query optimization and troubleshooting. The selected individual will assist clients with prompt responses to queries and provide technical support for any challenges they face.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support, focusing on SQL query optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Assist clients with prompt responses to queries and provide technical support for any challenges they face.
  • Apply knowledge of Sales Inventory, Accounting, and POS systems to deliver effective solutions in Retail and Restaurant environments.
  • Diagnose and fix software and hardware issues remotely, making necessary adjustments to resolve client problems.
  • Ensure all client issues are fully resolved through diligent follow-up and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify software bugs and implement solutions to enhance system stability and performance.
  • Document common issues, solutions, and procedures to streamline support efforts.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers by serving as an escalation point for more complex issues.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Sales Inventory, Accounting Modules, and POS systems (especially in Retail and Restaurant sectors) is advantageous.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in software support, with a strong focus on SQL and query optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
