Technical Systems Administrator

We have a rewarding opportunity for an experienced infrastructure/application support professional to join our team as a software and systems administrator.

Your responsibilities will include optimizing systems, building infrastructure, managing capacity and resilience, and automating tasks across various technical areas to support business objectives.

  • You will utilize High Security Access (HSA) systems, completing enhanced screening before starting employment or assignment.
  • You will develop expertise in proactive monitoring and contribute to automated healing and recovery during system failures.
  • You will analyze and visualize system health, uptime, performance, and capacity reports.
  • You will collaborate with development teams throughout the project lifecycle to enhance reliability, analyze incident patterns, conduct post-mortems, and implement automation to prevent recurrence.
  • You will identify hidden problems proactively to ensure rapid service delivery.
  • You will promote a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must have formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of practical experience, including 2+ years leading technical teams.
  • You should have strong skills in Linux, UNIX, Windows, and application/middleware support.
  • You must have experience with automation and configuration tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • You should be proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • You must have experience managing critical application outages, root cause analysis, and remediation.
  • You should have knowledge of instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and response tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, or Grafana.
  • You must have experience with Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Benefits:

  • Shift timings: 12 PM - 9 PM IST on weekdays.
  • Weekend coverage approximately once every 5-6 weeks, compensated with weekday offs.
