Job Title: Assistant Commercial Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will manage financial information and scenarios required for strategic meetings, budgeting, and actuals in line with agreed service levels and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely financial information and scenarios for S&OP meetings, budgeting, and actuals.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process simplifications and integrations to enhance efficiency.
  • Accounting Policy and Procedure: Handle inquiries, ad hoc reporting, and analysis requests; provide periodic customer training.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Fulfill and enhance customer needs through proactive involvement and interaction.
  • Innovation and Automation: Develop and assist in automating processes using innovative technical and processing solutions.
  • SAP Support: Assist with SAP user access management.
  • Documentation and Control: Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and support control documentation requirements.
  • Reporting Changes: Coordinate with global process owners on the implementation of reporting changes, including submission of comprehensive business specifications where technology enhancements are required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • MBA graduate with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a major multinational company or equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or ERP equivalent.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and practices.
  • Ability to analyze reports, identify issues, and challenges within report functionalities and data.
  • Able to drive projects and process improvements and handle a remote customer base model.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledgeable in identifying risks and implementing controls.
