Territory Development Specialist
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility is to achieve sales goals by maintaining good relationships with targeted customers. Key performance indicators are to meet sales targets and improve market share for allocated products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual and quarterly benchmarks for assigned products in the allocated territory.
- Stay updated on product and competitor knowledge.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop potential clients.
- Implement promotional strategies effectively.
- Adhere to best practices and prescribed administrative procedures including daily call report synchronization and interoffice correspondence.
- Visit clients, chemists, and institutions to generate sales and monitor demand.
- Handle customer complaints and queries efficiently.
- Obtain market feedback on own and competitor products regularly and communicate to management.
- Ensure availability of company products at trade and institutional levels.
- Ensure inclusion of products in institutional purchase lists and obtain orders.
- Participate in regular meetings and those called by management.
- Interact and cooperate with all employees.
- Build trust, foster innovation, and demonstrate high integrity.
- Use resources judiciously.
- Participate in performance assessments and discuss areas of improvement.
- Develop professional relationships with targeted professionals.
- Assist in conducting product presentations.
- Increase market share using IMS Sales Analyzer.
- Maximize business from key decision makers.
- Communicate adverse event reports within timelines.
- Display professionalism during job tasks.
- Report all spontaneous adverse events within timelines.
- Complete induction training and yearly refresher.
- Perform other job assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Graduate preferably with medical or science background
- Fresh or 1-2 years relevant experience
