
Pre-Sales Technical Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team, playing a vital role in the sales process and providing technical guidance to prospective customers. As a key member of the sales team, you will analyze customer requirements, propose tailored IT solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
Responsibilities- Design IT solutions (networking, storage, servers, cloud, security, etc.) tailored to customer business needs, incorporating industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals, bids, and presentations that showcase our products' value and capabilities.
- Develop and present solution architecture diagrams, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and cost estimates that meet customer expectations, ensuring seamless project implementation.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and clients, highlighting our products' features and benefits, and addressing customer concerns.
- Assist in creating RFP/RFQ responses and ensure alignment with customer needs, ensuring our products meet their requirements and specifications.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product/service improvement based on client feedback, driving innovation and growth in our products and services.
- Engage with customers to understand their IT environment and pain points, positioning our products as solutions to their challenges, and building trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction, driving long-term relationships and loyalty.
- Partner with vendors and OEMs for solution validations and technical support, ensuring our products integrate seamlessly with other technologies and ecosystems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings, maintaining a competitive edge in the market and driving business growth.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product portfolio, including networking, storage, cloud services, servers, virtualization, and cybersecurity solutions, and their applications in various industries and use cases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with a strong foundation in IT solutions and technologies.
- 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution architect, or technical sales role, preferably in an IT firm, with a proven track record of success in designing and delivering IT solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IT solutions, including networking, storage, cloud services, servers, virtualization, and cybersecurity, and their applications in various industries and use cases.
- Experience with OEMs like Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, VMware, and Fortinet is highly preferred, showcasing expertise in multiple vendor environments and ecosystems.
- Familiarity with solution design tools and platforms (e.g., Visio, cloud architecture tools) is essential for effective collaboration and communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling clear and concise explanations of complex technical concepts and ideas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing for creative solutions to customer challenges and pain points.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, and driving business growth and revenue.
- Vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, or similar, showcasing expertise in specific technologies and vendor ecosystems, and driving career advancement and professional growth.
