Short overview

ABS International is hiring a data-driven YouTube Growth & SEO Specialist for overnight, on-site work in Karachi. You will lead channel optimization, metadata strategy, thumbnail A/B testing, analytics-driven content planning, and coordinate execution with editors and designers to grow watch time and subscribers.

Core responsibilities

  • Create and run a data-driven content calendar that targets high-intent search and suggested traffic.
  • Optimize video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags), playlists and chaptering for search and suggested views.
  • Design, run and analyze thumbnail A/B tests to lift CTR and early retention.
  • Monitor YouTube Analytics (watch time, CTR, retention) and convert insights into concrete content changes.
  • Manage full publishing workflow: uploads, captions, timestamps, cards and end screens.
  • Lead community engagement (timely comment moderation, pinned comments, polls) to convert viewers into subscribers.
  • Coordinate with editors, writers and designers to maintain quality and deadlines.
  • Stay current with YouTube algorithm and creator-tool updates; apply improvements to channel strategy.

Minimum qualifications

  • 2+ years managing or owning YouTube channels with measurable growth (subs, watch time, CTR).
  • Proven video SEO experience and fluency with YouTube Analytics.
  • Hands-on familiarity with editing tools or workflows (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar).
  • Practice with thumbnail tools and A/B testing (Canva/Photoshop + testing workflow).
  • On-site availability for night shift (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM PKT).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and project management skills (Trello, Notion, Slack, or similar).

Preferred

  • Experience using TubeBuddy, vidIQ, SEMrush/keyword tools, or Google Trends for content research.
  • Prior success with channel monetization, memberships, or sponsor integrations.
  • Degree in Marketing, Media, or related field.
