Job Title: Manager - Human Resource

Location: PECHS, Block 6, Karachi

Job Type: Full Time Onsite

Working Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and direct the HR department's routine functions, including hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy enforcement.

Role & Purpose:

Lead and manage all HR functions in line with company strategy; champion a culture of professionalism, compliance, continuous learning, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with business goals.

  • Lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.

  • Supervise recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.

  • Ensure statutory compliance (labor laws, EOBI, SESSI, insurance, etc.).

  • Oversee employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary actions.

  • Champion employee training and development ensure a minimum quota of staff receive external or internal training each quarter.

  • Drive and monitor performance management/appraisal cycles using clear KPIs for all roles.

  • Oversee the drafting, updating, and communication of Job Descriptions for all positions (with support from Recruitment Executive).

  • Initiate employee engagement and recognition programs (e.g., Employee of the Month).

  • Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting (headcount, attrition, recruitment, training, payroll).

  • Develop the HR team; ensure backup/coverage for all HR processes.

  • Drive HR process automation and improvements.

  • Ensure timely escalation of all key staff movements (resignations, contract expiries, extensions) to senior leadership no surprises.

  • Define and enforce service-level agreements for HR queries (e.g., all management-level questions answered within 24 hours).

  • Own and track all HR transformation projects (e.g., overtime automation, Flow HCM enhancements), with clear milestones, RACI charts, and weekly status updates.

  • Maintain succession plans and documented handover protocols so the HR function runs smoothly during planned or unplanned absences.

  • Conduct background checks, including residence verification, reference checks, and clearance from the last organization, for all new hires and periodically for existing employees.

Budget: Market competitive Salary & As per expertise.
