Role Purpose

The Head of Business Development will lead SPC's national sales and business development agenda for its textile chemicals portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director, this senior leader will own revenue growth, market development and key customer relationships, while building and managing a high performing team of sales and technical professionals across Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee SPC's national sales operations for the full range of textile chemical products, including pretreatment, finishing, flame retardants and other specialty solutions.
  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of sales and technical professionals across Pakistan, setting clear objectives, coaching performance and driving accountability.
  • Drive new business development by identifying target segments, opening new accounts and expanding SPC's presence with leading textile and industrial customers.
  • Nurture longstanding client relationships, ensuring a high standard of technical support, service quality and commercial partnership.
  • Liaise closely with Finance to ensure disciplined collections, sound credit management and effective control of sales related expenses.
  • Contribute actively to SPC's long term strategic and growth planning, including sales forecasts, market development initiatives and partnership opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized institution; a technical qualification in textiles or chemicals is preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of proven experience in selling textile chemicals or closely related industrial chemicals, including at least three years in team management or a comparable leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing national or regional sales operations and delivering sustained revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.

  • Achievement of agreed annual sales revenue and margin targets for SPC's textile chemicals portfolio.
  • Growth in key accounts, new customer acquisition and overall market share in target segments.
  • Timely collections and receivables performance in line with company standards.
  • Development, engagement and retention of high performing sales and technical team members.
