Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM)
will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in
air freight, sea freight, LCL/FCL, project cargo, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions
. This role requires strong industry knowledge, a proactive sales mindset, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets in freight forwarding and logistics services.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and present customized logistics solutions and competitive quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with customers.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and overseas agents to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline, and revenue growth through regular reporting.
  • Stay updated with international trade trends, shipping routes, and freight market fluctuations.
  • Represent ACB Logistics at industry forums, exhibitions, and business meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum
    3–5 years of proven experience
    in sales/business development within freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of
    air freight, sea freight (LCL/FCL), and customs clearance procedures
    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
