We're Hiring: Tender & Business Development Executive

Experience: 4–5 years

Industry: Government, Semi-Government, and Private Sector Tendering

Timings: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Allowances: Fuel and lunch provided as per company policy

We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional to lead our tendering and institutional sales efforts across government, semi-government, and private departments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling pre-tender activities, departmental coordination, and complete tender documentation, well aware of post-tender processes, along with strong relationship-building capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Regular visits to departments to meet representatives and key decision-makers
  2. Identify pre-tender opportunities and obtain inquiries from relevant departments
  3. Prepare budgetary quotations in consultation with internal technical teams and senior staff members
  4. Conduct market research to identify historical purchase prices and set competitive bids
  5. Coordinate with in-house technical teams for sourcing and solution alignment
  6. Maintain and grow relationships with end users, procurement officials, and senior departmental staff
  7. Complete documentation of tenders and ensure timely submission
  8. Follow up with departments for clarifications, negotiations, and finalization
Candidate Requirements:
  1. 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in institutional or tender-based sales
  2. Minimum Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Business preferred)
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Proven experience in dealing with government and semi-government departments
  5. Familiarity with tender portals such as SAP Ariba, e-Pads, and other e-procurement platforms
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  7. Background in engineering or technical product sales is preferred
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management, documentation, and reporting tasks
