HR Manager | Recruiter | Onboarding | Talent Acquisition | Task Manager | HR Operations and ServicesWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Upwork Bidder/Business Developer Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by bidding on Upwork and other freelance platforms. This role requires strong communication skills, expertise in proposal writing, and a solid understanding of IT services, including web and mobile development, SaaS, and digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms.
- Write customized and compelling proposals to increase conversion rates.
- Follow up with potential clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
Client Communication & Relationship Management:
- Engage with clients through messages, emails, and video calls.
- Understand client requirements and propose appropriate IT solutions.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and project timelines with clients.
Proposal Writing & Presentation:
- Craft well-structured, persuasive, and error-free proposals.
- Ensure proposals highlight the company's strengths and unique selling points.
- Create video proposals when required, demonstrating confidence and clarity.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
- Develop strategies to improve bidding success and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand service offerings better.
Target Achievement & Reporting:
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for bidding success and client acquisition.
- Maintain records of bids, follow-ups, and client interactions.
- Provide regular reports on bidding performance and strategies for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in Upwork bidding, freelance sales, or business development.
- Strong English writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to craft tailored and persuasive proposals.
- Familiarity with IT Services, web and mobile development, SaaS, and other digital solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to close deals effectively and build long-term relationships with clients.
- Comfortable in front of the camera for personalized client pitches (preferred).
