Customer Services (Retention) Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer retention unit, you will be responsible for engaging with customers at risk of cancellation or renewal.

Your Mission

As a Customer Retention Specialist, your primary objective is to maintain high retention rates by providing exceptional service and offering effective solutions to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Engage with customers over the phone to resolve issues and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Utilize proactive retention techniques to turn cancellations into opportunities for growth and development.
  4. Educate customers on our products, services, and unique selling points (USPs).
  5. Buid lasting relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
  6. Conduct negotiations that are fair to both the customer and the company.
  7. Promptly address customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Work closely with our UK team, sharing updates on customer interactions to ensure seamless communication.

Requirements

  1. Exceptional communication and active listening skills to effectively engage with customers.
  2. The ability to multitask and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  3. Flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude to adapt to changing situations.
  4. Experience in managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  5. A detail-oriented approach and a commitment to knowledge retention to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
