The Territory Development Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth and achieving desired ambitions in terms of underlying volume and sales. This position requires a strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective distribution operations and delivery of sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and optimal execution of sales strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve sales productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales teams to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track sales performance, sales forecasts, and other key metrics.
What You Need to Succeed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 1-4 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG industry.
Desirable Skills
- Proven track record of driving business growth and increasing market share.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
