Key Account Specialist Role Summary

This is a highly strategic role that involves managing key customer partnerships, executing commercial plans, and ensuring operational excellence.

  • As the Key Accounts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in growing strategic customer relationships by coordinating internal teams and delivering volume and value targets.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales and share updates with the relevant teams.
  • Track performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and highlight variances with actionable suggestions.
  • Support in developing insights from sell-out and category data to guide planning.

Account Coordination & Management:

  • Execute Joint Business Plans and customer-specific commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain updated customer profiles, records, and support documentation for key account operations.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and business review material for customer meetings.

Customer Communication & Support:

  • Act as the key point of contact for customers on operational matters.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of customer queries, order status, and delivery issues.
  • Coordinate and follow up on promotions, launches, and activations with customers and field teams.

Executional Excellence:

  • Ensure proper visibility, planogram compliance, and activation execution in stores via coordination with merchandising teams.
  • Track campaign performance and compile insights to support post-activity evaluations.
  • Assist in managing and monitoring trade-spend execution.

Internal Collaboration & Alignment:

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Trade Marketing to ensure alignment on execution plans.
  • Follow up on demand planning, stock availability, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Support in internal alignment meetings and planning cycles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from an HEC recognized institution.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, or Key Accounts function.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and a team player.
