Job Title: Vehicle Sharing Business Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute professional to help accelerate the growth of our car sharing business across the UK.
In this role, you will support the Development Director in managing a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality account management to maintain and grow revenue and ensure long-term success.
You will be coordinating input from various teams to ensure clients are supported and issues are promptly resolved. Maintaining positive working relationships with clients is key to enabling contracts to be renewed and negotiations to be concluded expediently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strong working relationships with client contacts to gain a deeper understanding of their business objectives
- Liaising with colleagues from Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to coordinate scheme launches and ensure excellent service delivery to clients
- Identifying opportunities to grow schemes, developing proposals, and contributing to tenders to meet client needs while supporting the company's commercial goals
- Providing regular reports on service performance, including vehicle utilisation and operation, using data sources to offer valuable insights and analysis
- Exploring and promoting efficient working processes, working closely with the Development Director to drive behavioural changes that improve profitability, customer service, and demonstrate continuous improvement
- Maintaining accurate Salesforce records and sales tools, ensuring clear and concise reporting
- Providing ad hoc support to colleagues across the group
Budget Management:
- Ensuring forecasting is accurately accounted for and reported back
- Controlling sales expenses according to company policy
- Exceeding revenue and contribution targets in line with the company plan
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Dedication to delivering exceptional service to public and private sector clients
- Ability to manage workload independently and take ownership of assignments
- Effective collaboration with colleagues at different levels, sourcing information tactfully and diplomatically
- Data interpretation, drawing conclusions, and communicating them clearly to clients in non-technical language
- Broad understanding of car sharing concepts (car clubs and pool car schemes) and relevant technology
- Commercial awareness and negotiation skills to support the company's strategy
- Interest in transport, mobility, technology, or city planning issues
- Experience in transport, mobility, or technology environments preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback
- Possession of a full, clean driving license
