Job Overview
Atlantic Healthline (AHL) is looking for an ambitious and strategic
Business Development Manager
to lead growth initiatives for our
FMCG and Detergent product lines
across the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, established networks in retail and distribution, and a proven track record of driving sales growth in the FMCG sector. This role requires a mix of strategic planning, market development, and relationship management to expand AHL's presence and market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets for FMCG and detergent products in the UAE.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with supermarkets, hypermarkets, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retail chains, and distribution partners.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the FMCG and detergent segments.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term agreements with distributors and retailers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and sales.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare business reports, and present forecasts and strategies to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for FMCG and detergent products.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, driving a performance-oriented culture.
- Represent AHL at trade shows, exhibitions, and business networking events to enhance brand reputation.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of proven business development or sales management experience
in FMCG, detergents, or household care products (UAE/GCC experience strongly preferred). - Strong knowledge of FMCG retail, distribution, and supply chain networks in the UAE.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop actionable growth strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
