The Role

As the VAPT Support Specialist, you will be the operational hub of our Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) program. This is a non-technical role focused on process management, communication, and tracking. You will work closely with our GRC lead, technical security engineers, and various IT and engineering teams to ensure the smooth execution of the entire VAPT lifecycle, from scheduling tests to tracking remediation.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

Program Coordination: Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of all internal and third-party vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

Finding Management: Log and track all identified vulnerabilities from assessment reports into our central tracking system (e.g., Jira). Ensure each finding is clearly documented and assigned to the correct remediation team.

Remediation Tracking: Act as the primary liaison with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams. Facilitate communication, monitor progress on remediation tickets, and ensure stakeholders provide timely updates.

Reporting and Communication: Compile and distribute regular status reports and metrics on the VAPT program for management and technical teams. You will translate technical data into clear, concise summaries.

Meeting Facilitation: Schedule and facilitate meetings between the GRC team and remediation owners to discuss findings, clarify requirements, and drive progress.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all VAPT program activities, including test schedules, findings, and remediation evidence.

What You'll Bring (Required Skills & Qualifications):

2+ years of experience in a coordination, project support, or administrative role, preferably within a technology or IT environment.

Exceptional organisational skills and an extremely high attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven experience using project management or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, ServiceNow).

A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow through on tasks to completion.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

A demonstrated interest in the cybersecurity field.

A basic understanding of IT terminology and software development lifecycle concepts.

Project management certification (e.g., CAPM) is a plus.
