Acumen is seeking an Executive Assistant for our Country leader, to join our Pakistan office in Karachi. This is a growth-oriented role that combines core executive assistance with strategic support functions, with the potential to evolve into a key strategy position for the right candidate.

About the Role

This is a growth-oriented role that combines core executive assistance with strategic support functions, with the potential to evolve into a key strategy position for the right candidate. The role will be reporting to the Country Director.

Key Accountabilities include:

Primary Responsibilities - Executive Support (50%):

  • Drive efficient calendar and email management across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate local and international travel arrangements including visas, accommodations, and detailed itineraries.
  • Serve as the key communication hub between CEO, global team, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage sensitive information and communications with utmost discretion.
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations and anticipate administrative needs.

Strategic Support Functions (30%):

  • Prepare meeting briefing documents including background research on participants and strategic context.
  • Take detailed notes in key meetings and manage follow-up actions.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Track and drive completion of action items across the organization.
  • Provide basic analysis and synthesis of information to support decision-making.

Administrative Support Functions (20%):

  • Manage existing vendors and engage with all third-party contractual partners on billing, verifications, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years supporting C-level executives in global organisations.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills: ability to take primary responsibility for execution of diverse number of projects in a timely manner with limited supervision.
  • Experience managing international travel and remote team coordination.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Complete discretion with sensitive information, both within the company and externally.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
  • Self-reflective and aligned with Acumen values.
  • Permanent authorization to work in Pakistan.
