Job Description

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for expanding the business by finding new customers and continuously monitoring sales data to stay up-to-date with current market trends and customer needs.

  • This role requires first-class consultative sales skills, a good understanding of features and benefits, and the ability to prepare account profiles for company accounts.
  • You will identify and establish strong, loyal relationships with all decision-makers, complete management reports on time, and be aware of applicable company KPIs and business plans.
  • Awareness of competitive activities within major accounts and providing sales presentations for clients showcasing the success and credibility of the business and its products is also essential.

Job Specification:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to excel in this role.
  • Demonstrable and successful sales track record, good technical background in product area (desirable), and proven record of effectively meeting sales quotas are required.
  • A degree in business studies would be an advantage.
