The role of a Senior Enterprise Account Manager is pivotal in fostering strategic partnerships and achieving ambitious sales goals within the organization.
- Expand our presence in new areas of clients' businesses through innovative offerings and services via approved contracting channels. Originate sales opportunities and guide them to successful closure.
- Respond to RFPs around specific, approved opportunities.
- Manage Service Orders and provide regular updates to clients for incremental work sold.
- Collaborate with the commercial director to report on Profit & Loss and Management Information Systems for incremental sales.
- Create and manage account-based and industry-specific marketing programs, including events, webcasts, email campaigns, and content syndication.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Digital, Campaigns, Product Marketing, Product Development, Go-to-Market) to align messaging, event formats, and goals.
- Bild relationships with C-level executives across lines of business to understand business objectives, concerns, and priorities within key accounts.
- Partner with internal teams to develop comprehensive account plans, ensuring long-term customer influence and achievement of sales goals.
- Identify new accounts and explore opportunities within existing accounts.
Responsibilities
This role involves preparing weekly reports, quarterly review meetings, communicating findings to senior management, and maintaining essential data recording systems.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the industry, self-motivated, highly structured and organized.
- Skills: Familiarity with the organization's solutions and products, proficiency in MS Office, strong account management and relationship-building skills.
- Abilities: Reliable, responsible, dependable, driven to exceed sales targets, sound judgment, ability to manage decision influencers and makers, and to present and win business cases with senior management.
Education, Experience, Certification:
- Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degrees preferred. 7-10 years of experience in a related field. Experience in IT sales with eight or more years is advantageous. Experience managing major national accounts at the head office level.
Competencies:
Proven sales experience, team player, sales certifications, task-oriented with focus on targets.
