About the RoleThis key position requires a seasoned sales leader to drive commercial sales growth and expansion into new markets, fostering a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales leadership, with experience in managing or mentoring teams in a tech or product-focused environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed commercial revenue goals, while guiding a team of account executives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive commercial sales growth and expansion into new markets.
- Collaborate with sales operations to drive consistent execution of Motive's sales methodologies, ensuring CRM alignment, training, and coaching programs.
- Lead your team in prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing upsell or cross-sell deals within existing commercial accounts, helping them hit monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
- Establish and maintain disciplined pipeline planning, working closely with leadership for accurate forecasting.
- Ensure the team effectively utilizes Motive's product suite (VG, Dashcam, Motive Card, new solutions), reinforcing best practices in negotiation and value positioning.
- Coach Account Executives through regular call reviews, deal strategy sessions, and performance evaluations to continuously enhance sales performance.
- Provide leadership with clear forecasts and trend analyses, highlighting growth opportunities and potential risks within the Commercial segment.
- Support demos and negotiate more complex or higher-value Commercial deals as needed.
We seek a sales leader with a proven track record in B2B sales, exceptional contractual and negotiation skills, and the ability to hold teams accountable for accurate forecasting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and direct a diverse commercial team.
